  1. Whose are the two unknown signatures on the menu from 1899 in Vienna? See Restaurant Meissl und Schaden1899 Concert Vienna 19-02-1899.
  2. We are looking for a photo of Emil Freund (1858-1928). Who can help us?
  3. I wonder if you could help me. I have been unable to find the identity of a movie I saw many years ago. It included a secondary character, a young woman, friends of the heroine, who was obsessed with Mahler. I seem to recall that she insistently played a recording (I think an LP -- this was before the time of CDs) of the Sixth Symphony, in particular of the last movement. She kills herself somewhere along the way. That is all I remember, unfortunately. I can't add more to what I told you. It was not a "historical" film, that's for sure; I'd say the film was made in the 70s or 80s. The main part was a young woman, and the Mahler fan in the movie was one of her best friends, if not her best friend. She played a record of the Sixth obsessively, in particular the last movement. And she spoke (cried?) about how Mahler was life and everything for her. If you've got any idea of the name of this film and who directed it, I'd be extremely thankful. Hélio Alves, Évora, Portugal
